New Battery Operated Controller from Hunter
The SVC was Hunter’s first battery operated controller, and added a new level of flexibility in our controller offering. Originally released in 2002, SVC has been extremely successful, with successive year over year gains in sales volume. As SVC gained popularity, customers have provided valuable feedback requesting more standard programming features in our battery powered controllers.
All SVC will be replaced with the new Node product, with expected availability from October 2011. Node is an advanced battery operated controller. No limitations, with many features found in AC powered controllers. Node is similar to the SVC in construction and application, but has significant feature improvements, including:
- 1,2,4, and new 6 station models, (Valve and ValveB models also available)
- Standard programming with 3 programs (A,B,C) and 4 start times each
- Accepts up to two 9 volt batteries for extended life
- Master valve functionality
- Seasonal adjustment (10-150%)
- Sensor bypass
- Total Runtime calculator
- Odd/even programming
